Embrace Services, Inc. has an opening for a full time Domestic Violence Advocate in Rusk County. The Domestic Violence Advocate is responsible for providing a 24/7 crisis response to victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children. This includes providing supportive, direct services, advocacy and follow-up care; maintaining a home like environment for families in shelter; supporting children and parents in Shelter; community outreach, awareness and prevention education; collaboration with community agencies and other children’s programs to promote victim safety and resource options.

Embrace is a nonprofit domestic and sexual violence safe shelter located in Ladysmith, WI—45 minutes north of Chippewa Falls, WI and 40 minutes east of Rice Lake, WI. Embrace offers a $10,000/year Flexible Benefit Account, excellent paid time off rates, and Health Insurance. Successful applicants will have a four year degree in a related field (or equivalent experience with proven effectiveness) and some experience in a related human services field.
